Baby shower games
Baby shower games.
No printing.
These need a phone and nothing else. The first three are ours: everybody writes into one card and the person it is for reads them on the day. The rest are the ones everybody knows.

Wishes for the baby
Send one link round. Everybody writes one wish, signed with their name. It opens on the day.

Guess the day and the weight
The same card, with the two guesses as questions people answer in their own words.

Guess the word
Pick a word that means something to them. They guess it before they read the card.

The ones everybody knows
Don't say baby
Everybody gets a peg or a ribbon at the door. Say the word and whoever heard you takes it. Most at the end wins.
Guess the belly
Cut a length of string to the size you think, then measure. Closest wins, and nobody has to say a number out loud.
Baby bingo
Fill a grid with what you think gets unwrapped. Cross them off as the presents open.
Name that tune
Songs with baby, child or mother in the title. First to shout it gets the point.
The nappy game
Melted chocolate in a nappy, and everybody guesses which bar it was. It is exactly as silly as it sounds.
Questions
What baby shower games work with a big group?
The card does: a hundred people can write into one and nobody waits their turn. Of the ones in the room, Don't say baby and bingo scale best, because they run in the background.
What can we play without printing anything?
All three of ours, and Don't say baby, Guess the belly and Name that tune. Everything on this page needs a phone at most.
How do the guesses at the day and the weight work?
They are two of the questions a writer can answer on the card, in their own words. The person it is for reads them with everything else on the day.
